GRAPE & WINE NOTES
Sugarhouse White- Elmer Swenson bred cold hardy hybrid ES 7-2-51 grape, daughter of Louise Swenson grape, dry with moderate acidity
LaCrescent- Minnesota cold hardy hybrid white grape, semi dry, aromatic with balanced acidity and citrus notes
Swenson White- Elmer Swenson bred cold hardy hybrid, offspring of Edelweiss,
aromas of white blossoms and citrus with flavors of green apple, lemon and lime
Sugarhouse Sweetheart- Elmer Swenson bred cold hardy hybrid Brianna grape, semi-sweet, hints of and tropical fruit and vanilla bean
Clara Rosé- Frontenac Gris grape fermented in true rosé style, Minnesota bred hybrid, citrus and tropical notes with balance sugar and acid
Marechal Foch- French hybrid red grape with dark cherry notes and a bit of cracked black pepper
Marquette – Minnesota bred cold hardy hybrid red grape, grandson of Pinot Noir, medium bodied with notes of cherries, black currants, and blackberries
Petite Pearl- Minnesota bred cold hardy hybrid red grape, lower acidity and higher tannins, notes of cherries and plum
Amelia Violet- A semi-sweet blend of Frontenac Gris and Petite Pearl
Sugarbush Nectar- Proprietary selection of our well aged white grapes, blended with our estate maple syrup to produce a sweet white dessert wine with a smooth maple finish.
Little Sister’s Sweet Revenge- Minnesota cold hardy hybrid Frontenac Gris grape fermented in true rosé style, then blended with estate maple syrup to produce a sweet dessert wine which is fruit forward with a sweet, smooth maple finish.
Red Maple- Proprietary selection of our well aged red grapes, blended with our estate maple syrup to produce a sweet red dessert wine with a port-like quality and a sweet, smooth maple finish.
